In all cases, diagrams were created to organize space, thoughts, and overall design thinking. In the center for performing arts, the diagrams were make to help me realize the optimal mask system for the building. For the Eureka Springs chocolate factory diagrams were used to help me create a floor plan that responded to the culture of Eureka Springs. Diagrams have been something I struggled to create because I have always wanted to skip them and jump right in. But now, I am learning that good designs need a paper trail which ultimately creates a great design process.
